As soon as a J-Rex VCI or an OBD2-Local is connected and comes online, our dedicated update server is automatically checked for new updates. Updates are actively pushed directly to the device and installed. The user is notified of this update process by audible and visual signals on the device and a notification in the web interface. The update process starts automatically and does not have any user control. We are constantly working on new features and compatibility updates following the principle of 'secure by design'. Updates and patches are signed and released frequently.
