You can create vouchers in two ways:
Generic code – A single code that multiple customers can use. You can set a maximum total number of uses.
Unique code – Each voucher has its own code, generated individually. Each code can be used only once.
Example: Generic Code
Suppose you want to offer customers a Christmas discount in December. You could set up a Generic code like this:
Voucher type: Generic code
Voucher code: CHRISTMAS25 – the code customers enter to redeem the voucher.
Maximum number of uses: 500 – the code can be used up to 500 times.
Voucher name: Christmas 2025 20% – visible in your dashboard, showing all vouchers generated under this name.
Discount type: Amount (fixed) or Percentage.
Valid from / to: 01-12-2025 to 26-12-2025
Optional: Limit usage to specific products or a specific customer.
Each time the
CHRISTMAS25code is used, a unique code is generated behind the scenes.
Unique Code
With a Unique code, each voucher is generated individually and can only be redeemed once. This is ideal for one-time promotions or personalized codes.
When you select the Unique code, the codes will be generated directly from the dashboard.
