What methods are used to encrypt data at rest and in transit?

Business data such as portal information including chat conversations, tickets, and historical records is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher and encrypted at rest using AES‑256.

For communication with the vehicle, a real‑time, low‑latency, mutually authenticated binary stream is required. Vehicle data, such as live logs and vehicle communication, is encrypted using a custom protocol designed by Jifeline, based on the ISO/IEC 9798‑2 and ISO/IEC 11770‑2 standards. The full technical details of this encryption protocol are documented in our jiraffe_security_protocol specification.
