Steps:

1. Plug the J-ReX into the vehicle’s OBD-II port.
2. On the hotspot-capable device, enable the mobile hotspot feature and then put the device away (it won’t be needed further).
3. Find the connector number on the back of the J-ReX (e.g., XXXXX).
4. On your internet device, search for available WiFi networks.
   Note: Disable mobile data if you are using a phone.
5. Look for a network named Connector[XXXXX].
   • If not visible, go to the Resetting J-ReX section below.
6. Connect to the J-ReX network (ignore “no internet” warnings).
7. Open a browser on the same device and navigate to: connector.help
8. Under Available networks, select the mobile hotspot network you want to use.
9. Enter the hotspot password if applicable, then press Connect.
10. Wait while a loading circle appears.
11. Observe the green and orange LEDs near the Ethernet port on the J-ReX. When both LEDs remain steadily lit, the connection to the mobile hotspot is successful.
