You can easily connect the Remote using a mobile hotspot. This can be done via the OBD WiFi Connect app or manually.

The only difference when using a mobile hotspot is that two devices are required!
Using a mobile hotspot
If you are using a mobile hotspot, two devices are required:
- One device is used to connect to the Remote
- One device is used only to provide the mobile hotspot connection
The Remote cannot connect to the same device that is also providing the hotspot.
Therefore, please make sure that:
- The hotspot is turned ON on the device that provides the internet connection
- The hotspot is turned OFF on the device used to connect to the Remote
This ensures that the connection is made correctly.
