The Remote must be connected to the internet via a device in order to function. This means it must be connected to a WiFi network or mobile hotspot using a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, or computer. An Ethernet cable can be connected directly to the Remote and does not require an additional device.

There are different ways to connect the Remote:

1. OBD WiFi Connect app
   With this app, you can connect the Remote to a WiFi network or a mobile hotspot.
2. Ethernet cable
   You can connect the Remote directly using an Ethernet cable.
3. Manual connection
   If none of the above options are available, you can also connect the Remote manually.
