LED Lights at the Ethernet Port of the Remote

On the top of the Remote, there are four LEDs. For more information, see our article LED Status Colors of the Remote

On the side, near the Ethernet port, there are two additional LEDs. Each of these LEDs has a specific meaning and function. Below is an explanation:

LEDs on the side of the Remote (near the Ethernet port)

Orange LED:
This light turns on after the Remote is connected to the vehicle and indicates that it is ready to establish a connection. It should remain on continuously, even when the Remote is connected to the internet.

What to do if the orange LED does not light up:

  1. Disconnect the OBD cable for 30 seconds and then reconnect it securely.
  2. If the LED still does not light up, perform a hard reset: press the reset button (bottom right at the back of the device) for 60 seconds using a reset pin or paperclip. During the reset, both side LEDs will turn off briefly while the LEDs on top continue to blink.
  3. Wait a moment, the Remote will now restart. Both side LEDs will light up again once the restart is complete.

Green LED:

  • Slow blinking: the Remote is ready to connect to the internet.
  • Fast blinking: the Remote has found the network and is attempting to connect.
  • Steady green: the Remote is successfully connected to the selected network.
